Signing Off Until The New Year

After listening to a fabulous new episode of Ravenwood Radio (on which I didn't win a fancy Wizard101 Mantasy Falace), David and I are posting together tonight to conclude the year of 2010.

We've had an amazing year with everyone in the Wizard101 online community. We wish you all a new year full of despair, shame, reluctance, and pity (for the record, just kidding).

Thanks to one and all, especially Luke GoldHorn. And Friendly. And Steve.

Oh, don't get me started. There's just been so many people that have been helping me and David though Wizards.

I know you'll miss us these next few days as we sign off on blogging until the new year.

A huge congratulations to Ashley SeaBreeze, who won the contest on Ravenwood Radio. You are to be praised for snatching an MFP rightly-fully from my grasp ;-)

And now, a word from your loony pyromantic friend, Sir David "The Mango" TitanRider, notably famous for his relation to blogging legend Dustin "The Stapler" MoonCatcher.

~

(For the record, Dusty's the loony one.)
In a nutshell, or mango peel, pick however you wish to summarize it.

Nutshell-A great year, full of craziness, and magical prowess-60 WOOT!

Mango Peel- Slimy, kinda floppy, and a bit overrated :) lol
(Thats for you Friendly)
"Forget Grammar"-Dustin (as he stares at the screen as I type)-lol

Ok now for safety tips with David!

Mango's are floppy, and rather slimy if you step into a random room with Mango skin carpet.
SOOO Naturally you call the police about a wackjob with mango's on his carpet-xD

I wish you all a good ol happy new year, and (>^.^>  KIRBY!

(so off topic)

This is Dustin and David signing off!
FOREVER!!!

( NOT)  xD
Keep on Casting! ( or having your mentally deranged cousin (AHEM) hack at you with a giant Nerf Sword-HELP ME-)

We Become Even More Of Legends In Our Own Egos

I'm not going to go into details, because David just posted them.

We're Legendary. That's all I'm saying. Here's the video of our final moments collecting experience... (Until we get more Levels... If we get more Levels.)

The video here is pretty small - so you can click on it to go to YouTube where you can view it in full HD.

Thank you very much to everyone who has helped us along the way.

Keep on Casting,
D. MoonCatcher

DING! Lvl 60!!!!! :D

Its official folks, We are LEGENDS! (or even more so ;)
So when Dustin and I were on tonight we had to fight our way deep into the rust covered ship. The Calypso!
Yeah I know, Screen capture +Ninja Jump=PICTURE FAILURE
But hey! Its still a memory.
So after A Efreet, a Leviathan, and a Triton=
Lol I know, epic triton face glitch :D.(or was that there for a reason? ;) )
So after Dusty's and I's battle (grammar fail :( ) We were astounded achieved this!
EPICNESS! good ol Calypso decided to hand over our keys to success-just plain old Glory.
Here's my stats now.
Now all thats left is to plan the rest of our Wandcast Holiday show, and prepare for some epic walrus on the field. ;) I'm sure Kestrel brought the mango's too.
Lol Life=GOOD.

Adios Guys,
Keep on Casting! :)

Two Way Renovating

Hey guys! I feel like I've been doing two types of renovating right now, so I'll take you through them...

The first renovation is the Wizard101 Info renovation. I'm having a great time redesigning the blog with the great blogger John SpiritShade from Ambrose 2 Zeke. He's awesome! Anyway, we've got a new header, color scheme, and a little bit more coming for you soon. I just have to give John a huge thank you for helping me out - his graphic design is incredible, and Wizard101 Info will look so good once it's all done. (Any #Twizards reading? Then follow John on Twitter for the latest updates from his blog and Spiral life: @spiritshade101 and @ambrose2zeke.)

Until then, though, all you poor unfortunate readers will be stuck with a classical Blogger template. You're welcome!

The second renovation I've been doing is of my alternate character, who hails from the Myth School. Recently, I took Dustin DuskCatcher into Krokotopia! He finished all Wizard City quests, and is taking the new sandy climate headstrong.

Just today, he hit Level 16 while questing in the early to mid stages of the Pyramid of the Sun. This meant two new spells: the Ether Shield from Myth, and the Tower Shield from Ice. I had MoonCatcher learn Life to Satyr and Death to Feint, so I'm trying a bit more defensive approach with DuskCatcher (Ice to Tower, Death to Feint.) Of course, this includes the mandatory tri-blade tri-trap stuff from Niles, and, eventually, a Celestial school. I'm leaning towards Sun for D.D.M., but it might have to be Star... Or, I could pick and choose from all the Celestial schools like I wish I'd done with Dustin.

Let me know what you think of my plan by leaving a comment on this post...

Well, that's an update on what I've been up too. Check back soon for a new and improved Wizard101 Info!

Keep on Casting,

Astral Magic Mastered!

David and I did a whole lot of questing last night with Friendly and Cass. Thanks for the help, guys! It was a bunch of fun.

A highlight of last night was finishing off the Lounging Lizards quest in Celestia. This means that we earned (1) the Celestian Explorer badge and (2) a Training Point.

I thought it was pretty cool, since we were able to learn... Empowerment!

Let me tell you, this spell is great. Get it. If you want.

Leave a comment if you have any questions...

Keep on Casting,

Early Questing in the Crustacean Empire

David and I got a little bit of questing done today in the Crustacean Empire. It's been really bothering him how all of the Crabs have speech impediments.
If the Crab's speech impediments are bothersome to you, kindly turn off the voice-overs feature and be done. I like the Crabs. There.
Today was the first time we ran into Thurston Plunkett, the fabled Marleybonian leader of the Celestian expediation.
The dude's pretty short. That's all I'm saying. (Sorry, Professor Balestrom! I had too!)

So that was cool. (Please leave your ridiculing comments on Plunkett's height in the comments section below, but don't tell Professor Balestrom!) ;-)
Soon after the quest where you meet Plunkett, there's a quest to collect sea mold. I put together a guide for you guys since the quest helper doesn't work for this.

Hope this helps anyone who's looking for mold for this quest!
I'll keep you guys posted on our questing... Until then...

Back In Business - Grand Re-Opening!

Before I begin, please allow me to define "nostalgia" for you.

"nostalgia:" a sentimental longing or wistful affection for the past, typically for a period or place with happy personal association

Yeah, folks, I'm feeling really nostalgic. I wanna be back with you all here on Wizard 101 Info, and not over at the Musings!

Friends, and wizards, please allow me to officially announce... what we were planning on announcing months from now... but what I will announce now...

THE GRAND RE-OPENING OF WIZARD 101 INFO!

Because although you guys have been great and haven't complained too much, we know that we've been really bad bloggers for the past 4 months. We know it, yo.

So we're back in business! If you've been keeping up with my Musings blog, which I'm putting on hold for a bit to come back here, you'll know that David and I are now Level 59 and and playing in the sun zones of Celestia.

Stay closely tuned, Wizards! We'll be back soon with a new design for the blog as well as hopefully an abundance of posts.

I wish I could give you all codes for the Epic Gift card to show you how awesome you guys are. But I am broke. So I can't.

Keep on Casting,
D. MoonCatcher

Untitled

Man, I haven't posted in a WHILE. A LONG time. A VERY LONG time. I hope you guys don't hate me to much.

You probably do. I knew I shouldn't have started the Musings blog.

Well, you guys will be happy to know that the holiday season is giving me loads of nostalgia. The holiday season is also giving you a brand new, renewed, vibed up, Wizard 101 Info!

Keep on checking this blog, guys, because David and I are working behind the scenes to get a special event going with a couple of blogging buddies.

Stay tuned, guys! Keep on checking here... and my Musings blog :P

Keep on Casting,

D. MoonCatcher
