Signing Off Until The New Year

After listening to a fabulous new episode of Ravenwood Radio (on which I didn't win a fancy Wizard101 Mantasy Falace), David and I are posting together tonight to conclude the year of 2010.

We've had an amazing year with everyone in the Wizard101 online community. We wish you all a new year full of despair, shame, reluctance, and pity (for the record, just kidding).

Thanks to one and all, especially Luke GoldHorn. And Friendly. And Steve.

Oh, don't get me started. There's just been so many people that have been helping me and David though Wizards.

I know you'll miss us these next few days as we sign off on blogging until the new year.

A huge congratulations to Ashley SeaBreeze, who won the contest on Ravenwood Radio. You are to be praised for snatching an MFP rightly-fully from my grasp ;-)

And now, a word from your loony pyromantic friend, Sir David "The Mango" TitanRider, notably famous for his relation to blogging legend Dustin "The Stapler" MoonCatcher.

Mango's are floppy, and rather slimy if you step into a random room with Mango skin carpet.

SOOO Naturally you call the police about a wackjob with mango's on his carpet-xD

Man, I haven't posted in a WHILE. A LONG time. A VERY LONG time. I hope you guys don't hate me to much.

You probably do. I knew I shouldn't have started the Musings blog.

Well, you guys will be happy to know that the holiday season is giving me loads of nostalgia. The holiday season is also giving you a brand new, renewed, vibed up, Wizard 101 Info!

Celestia Diaries, Number One

Celestia hit the Live Realm this morning! It's my blogging duty to document this incredible event... And so I will.

(If you're new to what's what in the Celestia Expansion, here's the update notes for you. Enjoy!)

Let's kick this off! As soon as the evil patcher finished updating Wizard101, I began!

So Diego gave me a hat, too. Yeah, even though it gives Critical bonus and great health, it's just not like the Grand Gear...

Then, it was off to Merle for THE QUEST.

Took you long enough, hasn't it, Ambrose? Well, anyway, I took his quest, and then made my way to Wizard City's Spiral Chamber. 

It was wonderful to see Celestia on the roster. When the patching patcher was finally FINITE with patching, this amazing vista greeted me in Celestia.

It's awesome to finally be in Celestia LIVE!

Well, uh, that's all I've got today. I really wanna get some actual playing in... So see you guys under the sea!

I'll hopefully be back in a day or two with more pics and info!

David, I'm Coming Through For You.

I've just read the post that David made about his frustration with Wizard 101. It's a serious problem that he can't get into Wizard 101 with his achy old dinosaur computer. The reason it's such a problem is because up until Wizard 101 (and a bit of Pirates Online) David and I didn't communicate to often. True, emails were sent, but we never got the full experience of playing side by side in an interactive way. Wizard 101 has been our one big chance at that, and I am not going to let David quit. I have a master plan.

If I know David TitanRider, I know that he isn't going to quit if he has something nice to come back to. Here's what would be a huge letdown for him; coming back to Wizard 101 after a ton of time and finding out that everyone is ahead of him and that his Helephant is a Teen and that he doesn't have the Ianthine Spector. If I can get all of these things for him and make sure he doesn't fall behind, he'll come back to the game once he gets his computer, and he won't abandon the wonderful W101 community during his tedious wait. 

I propose that I, Dustin MoonCatcher, will make David's time out of the Spiral as enjoyable as possible by (1) getting him the Ianthine Spector pet, (2) leveling his Helephant to Adult, and (3) giving him some great messages from the community.

Alric RavenSinger and friends, this is to you. All of you artists out there in the Spiral, this is your time to shine. Send me a card for David with a nice message or something about Wizard 101. Be it a tip, get well soon, or a code for 60,000 Crowns which I'm sure my cousin wouldn't refuse, send it. I'll pass it on to him. Pets Go Live Today (5.26.10)!

In roughly an hour and a half (it's 6:25 AM EST right now) the entire Wizard 101 community (unless you're at school :() will be able to hop on the game, type in their username & password, press login, and begin a download.

The Pet Update goes LIVE REALM today, May 26!
